INSIDE OUT THEORY:

It’s our nature to be happy and peaceful.  This naturally exists within ourselves.  The thoughts you feed, are the ones that grow and become your state of being.  By paying close attention, you can choose your thoughts, and live your life with authenticity and intention from the INSIDE OUT.

Meditation takes many forms. At IOM, we practice primarily focus and awareness meditation with elements of visualization and awakening of the senses, with a focus on your energy.  We practice FLOW Meditation.  A new and more modern type of meditation, curated by Sura Kim at SuraFlow.  It is a practice designed to meet you where you’re at, through a softer approach, one that recognizes, celebrates and invites a more feminine and creative way of being to meditation.

FLOW meditation has to do with your state of being and achieving a state of flow, through relaxation, and also through the awareness of energy or chi.

Everything is energy. Your energy could be stuck or it could be moving. Your energy might also feel chaotic or scattered.

Once you have more of awareness of your energy, and have a greater understanding of the consciousness of the energy that you are in, you can receive more from your meditation practice.

This state of enhanced awareness gives you the ability to tune in, and to listen, and to create consciously, with your thoughts or your energy, and your feelings.

FLOW meditation is a form of creative meditation. It’s a softer practice that allows you to bring in some of the more feminine yin aspects that help to nurture you through a sense of gentleness and compassion.

At IOM, we believe your breath tells a story. At the fundamental level, meditation is practicing using your breath as a source of grounding. You will be guided to observe your thoughts, without judgement. Those very thoughts are the story you tell yourself. A story we have about who we are. It can keep ourselves from being the best version of ourselves we can be, or it can encourage us to be the best we can be. If you change your story you will change your life.

We often have a programmed, autopilot mode that has taken a hold of our thoughts and it can even be unconscious. When these thoughts create the feelings we experience, our state of being takes form. What do you want your state of being to look like?
